gonna literally throw virtual knives at the next person who says 34 & 16 need to step up in playoffs as if half the problem in previous years wasn’t management not surrounding them with complimentary players. like there is only so much two players can do. a team wins a cup, not individual players. like there’s a reason people you wouldn’t assume have a cup, have a cup, and that’s because they were part of a team that was built to support the name players.

i don’t need flashy deadline adds because a lot of the time it ruins team chemistry and things fall apart after a round. i just want a team that will go to war for each other, a team where people know what role they’re there to play and do it well, a team that has depth players they can call on when injury happens, because those are the kind of teams that win cups.

like yeah some of the greatest players have cups. but so do a bunch of guys you’ve probably never heard of. because it takes a whole team.

yknow sometimes i think about how mr seawatt gaming parkourcivilization only got to where he was by leveraging his knowledge of obscure rules and mechanics and keeping all his cards close to his heart. how he clearly only got to where he originally was in the 1st movie by making himself useful with amethyst blocks and brewing stand jumps. and how it all crumbled because evbo 360-ed all over his carefully laid plans but really, his undoing was his own hubris.

Yeah, Indigo Park is really cool, but it blew its load a bit too early by immediately killing off the cool stalker enemy from ch.1. The effect of the bird mimicing phrases is really neat, but you don't get to hear her do it much, especially because the warbling effect + loud af chase music drowns out what is being said, which sucks! Those voice lines are good!!

On a more serious note, (i've been mostly thinking about it in relation to jarry) but im really not sure i like how the league penalizes teams with injuries - in this case the canes. If there is so little wiggle room that a few injuries on key players can completely transform the make up of a team's offense capabilities....it just feels unfair. There is currently zero wiggle room - we've seen it with goal tenders especially (except for that crazy pens game LOL) where the team has ONE highly skilled goalie and if the team gets unlucky they could be set back for months. It incentivizes playing while injured/not fully healed (i strongly suspect this is what keeps happening with jars). It puts teams in the position of you either get lucky and stay healthy for an entire season, OR decide to risk permanent injury for the sake of the team. Its not a new problem - i remember reading something similar in the books on detroit's cup winning team. But it seems like something that is reasonable to change to make player's lives less fraught.

ppl should make a list of injuries (canon) and diseases horror game protags get and see where the point should be the protag should not be even walking or moving

cuz i saw one of them get puked on by a person with syphilis, landed on a pile of dead bodies, swam through a river that also has dead bodies, got nails hammered through their hands, dead animals are everywhere, got their thighs and legs stuck in a barbed wire fence, force fed blood that has the disease, and many more injuries from sharp weapons that probably rusted all to heck

and still going around running, doing parkour, LEAPING over gaps, and still have grip strength even if they had nails in BOTH of their hands

and i cant get out of bed when i have a fever
